Numerical Solution of Poisson Equation on bidimensional irregular domains

A numerical method is presented for solving the Poisson equation on bidimensional curvilinear quadrilateral domains. The approach involves using a particular transformation to convert the given quadrilateral domain to the computational square domain D = [−1, 1]², and applying the Chebyshev pseudo-spectral method so as to solve the transformed equation in the computational domain.
