Inland River Simulation of Coastal Cities Based on Real-time Control (RTC) Rules

Urban rivers are important landscape and environmental carriers of cities. Aiming at the ecological regulation of inland river water level under the action of tide in coastal cities, an application case of RTC and hydrodynamic model in Baima River Basin in Fuzhou is presented. The results show that the model is accurate and reliable. The constructed RTC rules can automatically regulate the gate according to the water level in the simulation process, and achieve the expectation. The practical application of RTC rules is discussed, and the future development is prospected.
