Vacuum preloading and geo-synthetics utilization, a promising preparation for the marine clay

The study focused on the marine clay preparation with the vacuum preloading and geo-synthetics the effect of which would be investigated comprehensively. The applicable experimental models and programs were given and the geo-parameters were investigated after the preparation. The results of the model experiments showed that the vacuum preloading and geo-synthetics utilization was a promising treatment for the marine clay which has been consolidated successfully.
