Analysis of The Spatial and Temporal Distribution Patterns of Rainfall in Shenzhen

The differences in the spatial and temporal distribution of urban rainfall are related to the deployment of urban flood control and disaster mitigation. In this paper, Shenzhen city is taken as the study area. We use Mann-Kendall trend test method, wavelet analysis method and R/S method to explore the trend, cycle characteristics and persistence of annual rainfall, number of rainfall days and daily maximum rainfall in different areas of Shenzhen. The results show that the overall trend of annual rainfall in Shenzhen is not significant, and the spatial distribution of annual rainfall in the city will gradually form a decreasing pattern from east to west. The number of rainfall days in Shenzhen do not changed significantly with a variation of $2.7\sim 6.1$ d/10a, and the future the number of rainfall days may form a spatial distribution of more in the southeast and less in the northwest. The daily maximum rainfall variation in Shenzhen is $5.4\sim 12.2$ mm/10a. The future spatial distribution of daily maximum rainfall will maintain the situation of more in the southeast and less in the northwest, but the difference between the daily maximum rainfall in Dapeng and other areas will continue to become larger.
