Temperature Monitoring of Muffle Furnace based on Internet of Things

In this research, monitoring the temperature of muffle furnace based on IoT has been proposed. In the proposed system, validity of the data must be considered. The goal of this research is achieving almost the same value between the proposed system and sensor reading of muffle furnace. The proposed system uses polynomial regression for modeling. The result of modeling using third-order polynomial regression in this research proves to be able to decrease the MAPE sensor reading of 8.03%. The temperature sensor in this research is a K type thermocouple, equipped with a MAX6775 module as an amplifier. The NodeMCU is used to process and transmit sensor data to the IoT Thingspeak platform.
