IoT based Rash Braking Data Analysis and Plotting in Google Maps Using Raspberry Pi

Rash braking has led to a lot of accidents in these days. There might be several reasons for rash braking. One of them is obstacles or road conditions. Our project is to develop a system to avoid rash braking in the highways. Prolonged rash braking of several vehicles in the same place in a highway is recorded and shown to the drivers of the vehicles through GPS systems. The speed of the vehicle is measured by the accelerometer device inside the kit. The speed data is sent to the raspberry pi microcontroller to process. Then, the rash braking coordinates are stored subsequently. When several vehicles brake in the same coordinate again and again, the coordinates are shared to the vehicles approaching the place as a rash braking zone and are advised to reduce their speed. Hence the proposed system used to alert the driving people to visualize the zones where major rash braking has occurred using IoT with Google maps.
