Geoecology of Technogenic Infrasound

This paper considers the problem of estimating and preventing the ecologically dangerous risks of technogenic noise generated by various types of railway transport. The risks for the man and environment of a low-frequency controlled CV-40 seismic vibrator [1] used for seismological investigations is considered separately. A numerical analysis and an estimate of geoecological risks associated with seismic vibrations in the ground and acoustic oscillations in the atmosphere are presented. Spectral and spectral-time analyses of transport noise records are performed. The average noise levels in twenty-four hours and in the daytime and nighttime are determined. A comparative analysis of acoustic noise and vibration velocity levels of the sources and critical norms is made and the results are discussed. The results of analysis of experimentally obtained records of acoustic oscillations of the medium generated by explosions are presented. Based on these data, estimates of the specific acoustic energy density were derived and compared with critical norms for different objects.The results of calculations of geoecological risks, obtained on the basis of processing records of polygon explosions are given.
