Retinal Layers Segmentation Technology for Optical Coherence Tomography Images

In this paper, proposed an approach to segmentation of the retinal layers in the images of optical coherence tomography of the fundus. The relevance of the problem is due to the important diagnostic value of OCT and high image noise. The technology is based on a modified active contour method using k-means clustering to search for an initial approximation. The technology significantly improved the quality of the initial approximation.
