Method for Increasing of the Phase Unwrapping Efficiency by Filtering the Residual Phase Image

The paper considers a modification of the previously proposed phase unwrapping algorithm of space radar imagery data processing using the inversed vortex phase field method and its accuracy evaluation for ALOS PALSAR radar data. The modification involves the extraction of the low-frequency component of the phase field, the acquisition of the residual field image, and subsequent iterative filter processing of the latter. An experimental analysis of the proposed method's effectiveness for radar data processing in comparison with standard algorithms is carried out.
