A QIM-based Watermarking Method for 3D Mesh Integrity Protection

In this paper, a new QIM-based watermarking method for 3D meshes is proposed. The watermark is embedded into the distance ratio between three points to ensure the method invariance to geometrical transformations. The method is blind and operates efficiently without knowing any information about the watermarked model structure. The experimental study has shown that the method is efficient in terms of fidelity, capacity and robustness to affine transformations, and thus can be applied for integrity protection of 3D models.
