A Method for Recovering the Damaged Remote Sensing Systems Images, Obtained from Parallel Orbits

A method for recovering the damaged uncompressed multichannel optical remote sensing data of the Earth is considered. Data represent the several frames of the same area, obtained from parallel turns, and were broken by the failure of a disk array. A mathematical model and a prototype of a software package for recovering two damaged frames with partially overlap areas, and the frames themselves have a shift relative to each other. The efficiency of data recovery is evaluated on the example of processing the archive data of the SPOT-4 spacecraft original format (SEG) generated by the receiving equipment of the SCANEX UNISCAN-24 station.
