Local properties of collective dynamics of the human cerebral cortex neuromagnetic signals

In this paper we consider the interaction of the human cerebral cortex areas at different time scales. To quantitatively analyze the neuromagnetic signals of healthy people induced by visual flickering stimuli, we use several parameters describing different types of synchronization. We found areas that interact with varying degrees of synchronization at different stimuli. We have derived the time scales that show decay and amplification of synchronization effects. Our results provide a deeper understanding of the collective effects in the human cerebral cortex.
