Simulation of modes of by-phase electromechanical fuzzy control system of arc furnace arc lengths

In the article the structure of energy efficient arc furnace (AF) electric mode (EM) electromechanical control system is proposed. The system is based on fuzzy logic principles. A fuzzy model of an additive three-component functional for operative formation of AF EM error signal was created. A structure and design of the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy output system were worked out. This system controls AF EM and implements fuzzy model of the three-component additive functional. A structural Simulink-model of the three-phase AF electrodes position fuzzy control system was developed. The obtained computer simulation results showed the improvements of AF energy efficiency indexes while using the developed EM fuzzy control model in comparison to the known differential control law.
