Near-Boundary Element Method Modeling of Steady Oscilations of the Electromagnetic Fields in Piecewise-Homogeneous Objects

A numerically-analytic technique for finding electrical and magnetic components of electromagnetic field in a piecewise-homogeneous conductive object with ideal contact conditions at the media interfaces has been considered. The problem has been formulated for full model, which takes into account bias currents, and quasi-stationary one and has been solved by the near-boundary element method. Using the software developed, computational experiments have been carried out for the problem of exploration and forecasting of oil and gas deposits and conductive inclusions in a half-space by the method of frequency sounding. Electromagnetic field has been excited by a horizontal contour with current harmonically changing in time.
