Power-On Reset IC Module with Brownout Detection and Fast Transients Immunity

This work represents a custom high-speed power-on reset IC module (hard IP-core) with a supply voltage brownout detection and supply voltage fast transients immunity. This module could be incorporated in digital or mixed IC with supply voltage of 1.65 … 2 V, temperature range of -55 … 125°C. The typical features are stable switching thresholds of 1.52 V and 1.42 V, active reset time of 0.4 ms, independence on process, supply voltage and temperature. Unique features are independence on supply voltage change rate and immunity to supply voltage noise and glitches down to 70% of the rated voltage and a duration less than 10 μs, The module has been designed in 0.18
