Simplified Expression for Ziv-CZakai Bound in MIMO Radar Systems

Although the Ziv-Zakai Bound (ZZB) can predict the most favorable performance of MSE in the range of all signal-to-noise ratios (SNR), its computational complexity is often unbearable. The main reason is that a complex optimization problem will be encountered when evaluating ZZB of the multiparameter joint estimation. This paper presents the result of the optimization problem in numerical form, thereby further deriving the simplified expression of ZZB in the context of joint parameter estimation in MIMO radar systems. This expression can significantly reduce the computational complexity of ZZB, so that preliminary system design can be carried out efficiently.
