Abstract:
Information available on internet does have any way to evaluate the quality of a content. There is no control on the creation and consumption of the content. Trust on user generated content is the first impression on the user based on their beliefs. The content creators have the analysis of the clear understanding of the belief system of the user (User’s interest, sentiments). There is a challenge to truly assess the content, interaction with content, source of the information and their minute specifications.Assessment of the quality of the content and define a mechanism to define the credibility is still an open issue. In this research paper the parameter affecting the credibility, are identified. The extent of affection along with the criterion to validate the mechanism is also discussed in this paper.Experiment is performed on a Movie dataset; features are extracted, and assessment of source medium and interaction is calculated. The novel content credibility evaluation method is evaluated using precision, Recall and F-Measure. The accuracy of proposed module is 89 %.
