Demo: Proactive Low Latency Video Encoding Service Based on 5G Coverage

5G coverage and uplink capacity vary in different regions causing problems when streaming live video from a moving vehicle. Low latency video streaming relying only on the cellular coverage is fundamental in V2X scenarios such as in teleoperated and cooperative driving when reliable V2V is not possible. We demonstrate a proactive video encoding service able to adapt into prevailing network capacity based on 5G coverage. The solution enables fast video bitrate adaptation to network fluctuations, thus maintaining the required end-to-end delay and quality.
