Research on Clustering Optimization Algorithm for UAV Cluster Network

Aiming at the problems of unstable complex network topology and short life cycle of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) cluster networks, a clustering optimization algorithm is proposed in this paper. First, all nodes in the network are clustered according to node velocity and distance similarity. Then, comprehensively considering residual energy, the highest node degree and communication condition of each node, an optimal cluster head is selected based on the improved Gray Wolf algorithm. The advantages of the proposed algorithm in stabilizing the network structure and prolonging the network life cycle are verified by MATLAB simulation.
