Bidirectional Mapping Trajectory Similarity Measurement Algorithm Based on Geohash Grid

Aiming at the solving problems of the existing trajectory similarity algorithms that the sampling points cannot be aligned and the calculation results are affected by noise, this paper proposes a bidirectional mapping similarity measurement algorithm based on geohash grid. This algorithm maps the sampling points on one trajectory to the closest position on the other trajectory and calculates the distance. At the same time, a geohash grid is established for the sampling points to reduce the time of calculation. The experimental results show that the trajectory similarity calculated by this method has high accuracy and the running time meets the requirements.
