Research on Chip Verification Technology Based on UVM

In recent years, with the rapid development of microelectronics technology and the continuous improvement of chip design technology, traditional chip verification methods can no longer meet the demand, and there are huge challenges in functional verification. UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) is a wonderful verification methodology with many advantages, and it has become one of the most effective methods for solving chip verification needs. In order to better verify the chip, this paper analyzes the UVM chip verification technology and studies the UVM verification platform and some important mechanisms. Finally, combined with UVM, the verification platform design and verification results of the IIC bus protocol are carried out.
