mode to form the expected wideband filter response. Finally, the lateral slot loaded with a resistor is used to achieve good isolation. In this case, by carefully studying these resonant modes, a wide passband can be obtained accordingly. The passband is composed of TM

, TM20 and TM

modes. For verification, a wideband FPD working at 2.9 GHz with 3-dB fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 76.8% is designed and simulated, indicating that this design has a relatively compact size and wide bandwidth.
