Integration of Knowledge Management Systems and Product Data in a Single Information Space of a High-Tech Enterprise

The article considers one of the promising directions of information technology development in modern industry — the introduction and ensuring the effective functioning of product data management systems. The advantages are shown and the main groups of the problem of implementing and ensuring the effective functioning of product data management systems at high-tech enterprises are identified. The prevailing role of the group of organizational and managerial problems is determined as one of the most significant in the context of the negative impact on the effectiveness of the implementation and functioning of product data management systems. A methodology for integrating knowledge management systems and product data is developed as the main set of measures to solve a group of organizational and managerial problems. The developed methodology was tested on the example of a really functioning high-tech instrument-making enterprise.
