Comprehensive Analysis of Transport Mobility of the Population and Gravitational Modeling of Transport Movements in the Leningrad Region

The article presents the author's methodology for assessing the indicators of transport mobility of the population in various territories in order to detect regularity, ranking and forecasting the mobility of the population. The methodology allows to define the interconnection of territories and infrastructure facilities in urban, transport and economic planning and engineering. There are presented the approbation results of the methodology by example of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. During the approbation there were refuted the hypotheses of the dependence of the transport mobility of the population on the geographical, demographic, economic, social, transport and infrastructure characteristics of the territory and there was specified the dependence on the aggregative combination of these factors.
