Simulation of the Dangerous Events Occurrence in Technological Processes in Railway Transport

The article deals with general approaches to constructing models of stochastic processes in complex technological systems from the standpoint of the reliability theory. A model of the dangerous eventsoccurrence in production activities is considered on the example of the railway transport infrastructure functioningprobabilistic approaches. The parameters of the hazard flows impact on the environment and humans are considered. The method of safety management within the “man - machine - production environment” system is proposed. The automatic warning signaling systems that ensure the safety of people working on railway tracks are considered as an example of the practical use of the simulation results. The advantages and disadvantages of individual hardware implementations of automatic alarm systems with different operating principles are analyzed. Recommendations for the analysis and prediction of the dangerous eventsoccurrence and ensuring occupational safety in technological processes in railway transport are developed.
