Choosing Technologies for Use in the Development of Special-Purpose Vehicles

The paper presents the methodology developed for evaluating technologies used in the creation of special-purpose vehicles. This methodology allows to minimize costs when designing vehicles and during their further operation by reducing the risks of imposing sanctions due to non-compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation. The main methods used were analytical studies using methods of mathematical statistics, decision theory, feasibility study, physical and chemical methods of analysis. Several options for comparing technologies were proposed, depending on their complexity. As an example, a comparative assessment of waste disposal technologies using special-purpose vehicles was carried out. The assessment of technologies used in the development of special-purpose vehicles allows to make the most appropriate decision on their industrial use, taking into account the stricter requirements of legislation in the field of environmental protection and, in some cases, with limited resources.
