Drivers’ Electrocardiosignals Analysis for Arrhythmias’ Predictors Registration

The main goal of this research is to confirm the opportunity to detect low amplitude arrhythmias’ predictors in electrocardiography signals (ECS) registered from automobile driver’s hands (I standard lead). Heart’s ventricular late potentials (VLPs) are estimated as sought markers. The following tasks are solved in this work with the purpose to achieve the main goal:•Evaluation of low VLPs presence or absence by High-Resolution electrocardiography algorithms’ application (Simson’s method) to signals registered by orthogonal leads X, Y, Z;•Decision-making criterion design with subsequent its application to detect VLPs presence or absence in signals registered by I standard lead.300 signal records registered from 97 patients with myocardial infarction are analyzed. Low amplitude arrhythmias’ predictors are detected in 6 cases. Initial estimation of decision-making criterion threshold is done to signals with detected low amplitude predictors. Filtered QRS-complex time parameter is evaluated: its threshold is 64 ms. Practical significance of this research is that VLPs registration due ECS analysis from vehicle driver’s hands will be useful for health’s preventive measures and will help to decrease a probability of TA emergence.
