Coal Logistics Demand Forecasting Based on Grey System in Shanxi Province

Shanxi is one of the areas where coal was first discovered and seasonably utilized in China. However, in recent years, the development of coal industry is facing great challenges in Shanxi Province because of the slow economic growth rate and the adjustment of energy structure. This paper analyzes the current situation of coal production and transportation in Shanxi Province. Then, the grey system is used to establish a prediction model to predict the coal logistics demand of Shanxi Province by 2024. The aim of the prediction is to make the supply and transportation of coal resources more reasonable in Shanxi. Meanwhile, it has far-reaching significance for the development of energy economy in China.
