Realization of Security and Stability Adaptive Emergency Control Device Based on PLC

At present, with the requirements of lean power grid operation and control, the typical off-line strategy is formulated based on conservative principles. The actual grid structure with its changeable power flow mode faces risks of over-control, under-control and even strategy mismatch. Urgent improvement is required to achieve optimization between control security and economic efficiency. Therefore, this paper proposes a realization method of strategy adaptive SSC (security and stability control) device based on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). Firstly, the structure and composition of the new device are introduced, including PLC strategy processor, frontend data processor, device sampling and output. Secondly, the implementation method of adaptive module is constructed by utilizing PLC logic analysis method from three aspects: ordinary strategy module, offline strategy table module and complex customization strategy. Finally, the effectiveness and practicability of the method are illustrated through the pilot application of the adaptive emergency control system of Guizhou Power Grid of China and its related application scenarios of each module.
