Suspension Winding Design and Vibration Analysis of an Ultrahigh-Speed Bearingless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor at 100 000 r/min

Bearingless permanent magnet synchronous motor (BPMSM) combines the advantages of magnetic bearings and permanent magnet motor, such as frictionless, non-contact, high efficiency, long life, directly driving load and high power density. It is widely used in air compressor, high-speed machine tool, flywheel energy storage, aerospace and other fields. In this study, the mathematical model of BPMSM suspension force considering rotor eccentricity and winding structure is derived. On this basis, a
$\boldsymbol{10\text{kW}, 100\displaystyle \text{kr}/\min}$
ultrahigh-speed BPMSM is designed. Then, the magnetic density distribution, torque, suspension force and modal are simulated by finite element simulation software to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis about suspension force.
