Current Prediction Control Strategy of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Extended Kalman Filter

In the traditional current predictive control system based on PI regulation, the control accuracy of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is often insufficient due to external interference, low adaptability and other factors. Therefore, a new current predictive control strategy, the current predictive vector control model based on Kalman filter (EKF), is proposed in this paper. By combining the extended Kalman filter with the traditional PI regulated current predictive control technology, the application model of EKF in PMSM is deduced and analyzed, and simulated in Matlab / Simulink environment. Finally, it is found that EKF algorithm has fast response speed, good tracking performance and less error in PMSM current vector control.
