Harmonic Suppression Strategy in Flux-Weakening Control of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Using Repetitive Controllers

Aiming at the problem that the Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) increases with the increase of the flux-weakening depth, this paper studies a method based on the Internal Model Principle and repetitive control. A compound control method combined with Proportional Integral (PI). First, a Repetitive Control (RC) is embedded in the current loop PI controller. The high gain characteristics of the repetitive controller are used to suppress harmonics, which improves the control accuracy and steady-state operating performance of the system. Second, under the premise of ensuring the system's stability, the parameter tuning method of the repeated controller is given. Finally, the composite control scheme's current, speed and torque running effects and the conventional PI control are compared and analyzed. The simulation results show that the method can effectively improve the motor speed regulation performance and reduce the current harmonics.
