ARES -Advanced Robot for Extraction and Survey

Disasters are inevitable, whether natural or human-made. For disaster management purposes, Robotics is necessary for real-time search and rescue operations. Proper surveillance statistics are required to act efficiently based on the information of the scenarios, which our paper presents as ARES, a solution to combat similar situations. It can be deployed in disaster locations to collect and analyze the scene using Panoptic Segmentation which is implemented for obtaining the masked labels. It can be maneuvered in hazardous and inaccessible terrain location ARES helps in giving on spot insights which are highly reliable and accurate for the teleoperators to do situation assessment.
