Analysis on the Influence of Improved Climb on the Take-off Weight Limit of Domestic Civil Aircraft

The take-off weight limit is an important factor that affects the commercial carrying capacity of a civil aircraft, and the climb gradient weight limit and the field length weight limit are the two most common factors that restrict the take-off weight limit. When the take-off weight is severely constrained by the climb limit weight, the climb ability can be improved by sacrificing the field length ability, which can improve the commercial carrying capacity of the civil aircraft. Under the premise of meeting the requirements of civil aviation airworthiness and operation regulations, this paper analyzes the influence of the take-off speed V2 of the ARJ21-700 domestic civil aircraft on the climb resistance and thrust through simulation calculations, and the V2/VS value of the maximum remaining thrust obtained under different weight interval. At the same time, it demonstrates the improvement range of the weight limit that can be obtained by increasing V2. Finally, an example of a typical airport is analyzed based on the actual operating environment of the ARJ21-700 aircraft, and the effect of using the standard take-off speed and the improved climb optimization method on the maximum take-off weight is compared. The results show that under suitable airport conditions, by increasing the V2 speed, the commercial carrying capacity of domestic civil aircraft can be improved while meeting the regulatory requirements, and the obstacle crossing ability can be improved, and the effect is good.
