Evaluation of the effectiveness of social investment projects cannot be reduced to considering only their financial side. This is due to the fact that some of these projects are not aimed at receiving profits at all, while others suggest receiving it after a long time period or not to the extent if it were a commercial project. Therefore, for projects of the first type, the assessment should be limited to a comprehensive assessment of all their social effects, and for the second type, it should be carried out both taking into account social and financial effects.
