Arrester Damage on 6.6 kV Power Distribution Line in Japan by Winter Lightning

The proportion of lightning fault among distribution line faults is still high, and lightning protection of an OPDL (overhead power distribution line) are still an important issue even today. In this paper, the authors investigate the arrester damage on the OPDL in Japan by winter lightning.
