Analysis and Application of Spaceborne Mode S and ADS-B Data Fusion

In order to realize the analysis of the distribution of radar stations on a global scale, this problem can be solved by the data fusion of secondary radar signals and ADS-B signals. The satellite is equipped with a highly sensitive mode S receiver, which can receive the global secondary radar response signals and ADS-B signals. Based on the data collected by the mode S receiver carried by the "Tiantuo-5" satellite, this paper analyzes the global ATC monitoring capability. Through data fusion and cluster analysis, the location distribution of secondary radar stations is studied. The results show that about 90% of the flight path area is covered by secondary radar signal.
