Bypass Diode Faults Analysis of Multi Crystalline PV Module Based on Electrical Characteristics Behaviors

In this paper, analytical equations of the single diode bishop model are implemented on the Matlab/Simulink software in order to develop the model of a photovoltaic panel, firstly. Then, a 150Wp PV module established by using the proposed Matlab/Simulink model with series connection is employed to represent the I–V and P–V characteristics and subsequently analyze their comportment for different bypass diode faults. Finally, physical interpretations of each fault type are detailed.
