Abstract:
Reports on the history, development, and applications supported by Texas Instrument's digital signal processor. In the 1970s, Texas Instruments was an early player in the microprocessor industry. Its initial success as the microprocessor inside the consumer market products, calculators and digital watches, led to the development of two addition microprocessor families.
