Simulation Study on Optimal Measuring Point of Vibration Core of Three-Phase Shunt Reactor

Shunt reactor plays an important role in transmission system. It can provide reactive power compensation for transmission line and improve the quality of transmission line. However, during field operation, shunt reactor will produce a large degree of vibration and noise, and even endanger the floor safety of indoor substation. However, before the vibration measurement of reactor, there is a problem that there is no systematic selection method for vibration measurement points. This paper puts forward a set of 7 vibration measurement points selection method for this problem. By giving a specific input current excitation and based on the magnetic flux density distribution in the core, the stress and strain simulation cloud diagram of the core of three-phase shunt reactor is determined, and the seven regions with the most concentrated stress and strain are obtained. The physical center points of the seven regions are taken as the seven best measuring points for the vibration characteristics of the reactor; Finally, by comparing the vibration acceleration curves of 7 measuring points with other measuring points, the correctness of this conclusion is verified. This research can provide a powerful reference for the vibration measurement of reactor.
