The Non-Isolated DC to DC Converters for MPPT Controller Based on the Load Line Analysis used for Solar PV Applications

Solar PV system is one of the leading renewable energy in the world. Due to variable nature of PV power, dc to dc converter plays very important role to transfer the generated power to the load system. Every converter cannot transfer maximum possible power for the given load system. So to select the particular converter for maximum power transfer, load line analysis is one of the important analysis. This paper performs the load line analysis of dc to dc buck, boost and buck-boost converters. It derives the relation between the PV output resistance and load resistance and it also derives the possible range of load impedance for each converter. The impact of maximum power under different loading condition is also tested using boost converter.
