Integrated Design of Beam Synthesis Network Based on Hybrid Planar Circuits

Beam network synthesis has always been one of the key technologies of line source arrays, and this paper aims at the multi-beam electromagnetic system of SC band, using the micro-band hybrid planar design method to integrate multi-beam function, delay network and multi-channel synthesis function circuit, and using the interconnection transmission of circuits, which is different from Butler matrix and Rodman lens beam formation network, which has the advantages of free network combination, small structure size and high reliability. The measured results show that the components are in the frequency range of 2-6GHz with the dimensions of 200mm×160mm×50mm, the insertion loss is less than 8.5dB, the standing wave is less than 1.7, the phase balance is less than ±5°, and the amplitude balance is lower than ±1dB, which meets the design needs.
