ISGW Bandpass Filtering Power Divider for Ku Band Applications

This paper presents a new power divider with two transmission zeros. The structure is implemented by encapsulating the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) with the integrated substrate gap waveguide (ISGW). The bottom substrate is SIW structure, and the rest of the two layers constitute ISGW structure, which improves structure performance. The designed power divider has 30.1% fractional bandwidth (FBW), two transmission zeros at 10.4 and 20.2 GHz introduced by ISGW, isolation of up to 11 dB, and insertion loss of 0.7 dB.
