An Artificial magnetic conductor operating in the band 7.51-15.24 GHz

A 50 50× unit composed of Artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) , which has an 67.96% fractional bandwidth works on the frequency band of 7.51-15.24 GHz is presented in this letter. The designed AMC structure has the advantages of wide bandwidth, small size, stable performance and easy processing. First, We simulate the AMC structure using CST Studio Suite. Then fabricated and measured to the structure proposed. The measured results show that well agreement with the simulated. And the AMC unit size is 6mm mm mm×6 ×4 .
