The Impact of Ecological Flow in Renewable Energy Production

This paper presents an energy generation study case on the new methodology elaborated to establish the ecological flows for the hydropower plants in Romania, and on its negative impact on the renewable energy generation. Starting from the new regulations issued by the Romanian authorities, the authors are presenting the analysis of a small hydroelectric power plant renewable energy production based on the old methodology and on the new methodology.
