Renewable Energy Sources Used for a Low Energy Building Rehabilitation

January 2021, resulting many environmental benefits and low energy consumptions. In the present work, a rehabilitation study has been performed for an old, poorly thermal insulated house, located close to the City of Bucharest. The method of energy analysis considered in the study is using pre-defined models using heat pump with active and passive cooling, photovoltaic system, thermal solar panels, and a good insulated envelope of the house. All simulations were performed using Design Builder software, treating in detail all types of energy consumers: lighting, heating, cooling and domestic hot water production. For the ground properties, relevant information was used for the City of Bucharest characteristics, not far away from the analyzed location.
