Abstract:

This paper presents the simulation of Top-of-Rack wireless links in a data center at terahertz frequencies. The propagation is simulated via ray tracing considering the effect of beam-steerable antennas. The data transmission is evaluated by link level simulations where the time-discrete interference signals are superposed at the receiver. The simulation shows that interference leads to a signal-to-interference ratio below 10dB for more than half of the links.
