Impact of Using Third-Party Logistics Provider on Organizational Performance in the Bulgarian Context

This study aims to verify empirically the impact of logistics outsourcing to third party logistics providers on organisational performance. The research was carried among small and medium-sized manufacturing organisations in Bulgaria. The research hypotheses about influence of outsourcing of warehousing operations, outsourcing of transport operations, outsourcing of inventory management and supply chain integration on the performance of the organization has been studied. The statistical calculations proved that the main four components of logistics outsourcing had a positive effect on organisational performance. The tests evidence the developed linear regression model is statistically significant and it can be used to evaluate the influence of the four factors on the organisational performance in the Bulgarian context.
