Constrained Continuous Bending in Trapezoidal Calibers with Three Grooved Rolls

In this work was investigated the possibility of realization of severe plastic deformation process using continuous constrained bending with a small relative bending radius R

/T≤1 in trapezoidal calibres (CCB Conform 3R2D), realized with the help of two rolls and a bending roller. Two variant solutions of the CCB3TR process with a bending roller above and below the axis of the rolls are analysed with respect to the accumulated strains in the individual stages of the process.
