Design and research of a fine operation capability evaluation system based on Fitts' law

Aiming at the precision operation ability of the joystick in flight, an evaluation system for testing the precision operation ability of the 2-DOF joystick is developed, which includes the 2-DOF joystick and the control module. Based on FITTS theory, the effects of different difficulty index (ID) and action time (T) on the precision of fine movements were designed, and different load controls were introduced. Finally, validation tests were carried out under different load conditions of 10% (INM), 30% (3) and 60% (6NM), and the validity of FITTS theory was preliminarily verified, providing an experimental basis for the next stage of tests.
